Psalm 105:1-11 GNB

“Give thanks to the LORD, proclaim his greatness; tell the nations what he has done. Sing praise to the LORD; tell of the wonderful things he has done. Be glad that we belong to him; let all who worship him rejoice. Go to the LORD for help; and worship him continually.

You descendants of Abraham, his servant; you descendants of Jacob, the man he chose: remember the miracles that God performed and the judgements that he gave.

The LORD is our God; his commands are for all the world. He will keep his covenant for ever, his promises for a thousand generations. He will keep the agreement he made with Abraham and his promise to Isaac. The LORD made a covenant with Jacob, one that will last for ever. “I will give you the land of Canaan,” he said. “It will be your own possession.”

Romans 8:28-31 NRSV

“We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn within a large family. And those whom he predestined he also called; and those whom he called he also justified; and those whom he justified he also glorified. What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?”
